Welcome to Breo Designs. I hope you enjoy looking at my jewellery and find something you like. I put a lot of love and pleasure into making these pieces and so nothing is nicer than being able to send them off to be worn, cherished and loved by someone else.

Jewellery on this site is original, designed and handmade by me in fine and sterling silver with natural semi-precious stones, pearls, shells and fossils. I occasionally use gold-plated or gold vermeil beads. Every item is a one-off. I do use elements made by others in particular the characterful Thai Karen Hill Tribe fine silver beads, clasps, charms and pendants, which I often source from Shiana, a fair trade accredited company in Thailand. 

Rare stones include "Tiffany Stone" from Utah (featured in the pendant pictured above - a rare patterned and colourful combination of opalised fluorite with a variety of other minerals such as chalcedony, silica, opal, rhodonite and manganese), Fossil Coral from Indonesia, Sugilite from South Africa, Kyanite from Brazil, Spectrolite from Finland. I also use familiar favourites such as Turquoise, Lapis Lazuli, Peridot, Garnet, Amethyst and Rose Quartz. I seek out the most beautiful and collectable examples of natural semi-precious cabochons and beads from all over the world. The cabs are individually selected by me direct from the lapidary artisans. They have been collected over several years, and many are rare. There just is not enough time to set them all myself! What you see here is only part of my collection and stock, so please contact me if you do not find what you are looking for.

I love making jewellery to commission and working with people to create something special and personal to them. I keep my prices as low as possible by careful buying and do not charge a premium for bespoke items. My makers mark is registered at the Birmingham Assay Office and silver jewellery made can be hallmarked if requested.
